(Kentville, NS) -- NDP MLA Jim Morton is pleased that two child care centres located in Kings North will receive over $53,000 in funding from the Department of Community Services for renovations and repairs.

“I want to thank Minister Peterson-Rafuse for making this investment in children and their families,” says Morton. “Both these facilities provide exceptional services and this assistance will help them provide even more effective care.”

Recently an announcement was made that 45 child care centres across the province received approximately $1.3 million in loans to make improvements like replacing windows, installing accessibility ramps and adding energy efficient furnaces.
