Wilson is Pleased About Community Crime Prevention and Reduction Investment Grant

(Sackville, N.S.) – NDP MLA Dave Wilson is pleased with the announcement of a Community Crime Prevention and Reduction Investment Grant from the Department of Justice to The Character Project at Sackville High School.
The group received a $2,000 one-time grant for the program which is delivered by teachers and addresses concerns regarding student behavior.
“I want to thank Minister Landry for making this investment in our school,” says Wilson. “The funding will help The Character Project continue their proactive approach to problems faced by students and educators.”
Today Justice Minister Landry announced that 35 organizations across the province would receive one-time grants totaling $80,000 for projects aimed at young people.
